As a parent of a teen who struggles with substance abuse, drugs or alcohol, you may be wondering if your teen’s behavior is simply a phase. Our intensive outpatient drug treatment for teens is comprised of three and five day-a-week options. The three day program meets Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for three hours after school. This program includes one individual counseling session and a variety of family groups. The five-day-a-week option meets Monday through Friday for three hours after school. While participating in the five day option, teens will meet individually with counselors twice and can attend a variety of family groups.
Recovery Associates of the Palm Beaches offers intensive outpatient drug treatment for teens that provides treatment plans that are unique to each client and does so through continuous re-assessments and tracking of progress throughout the treatment process. Our years of experience have shown us that family participation plays an extremely important role in the recovery process. Participation in our intensive outpatient treatment program for teens requires parents of teens to attend the family program that is hosted on Tuesday evenings. Doing so allows parents to fully understand what their teen is going through and allows the family to heal completely and as a unit.
